Compound Growth Marketing was started with three goals in mind. John wanted to:

• Spend more time with his family / move out of the city

• Work on intellectually stimulating projects

• Be able to feed an entrepreneurial spirit

These are the three (of four) goals he wrote down when he started the business. So far, even though we’ve grown, we have been able to achieve those goals for the people we bring on.

Our philosophy is different than most firms. The typical firm looks to bring on young talent, apply strict processes that everyone follows, and provide very little autonomy. CGM is more of a consultancy in that we bring on experienced people who can drive strategic decisions for the companies we work with. We bring in Directors who have led marketing teams, helped companies establish operations in new countries, worked on some of the largest sites on the internet, and advised brands you know.

Plain and simple, we want to find people who are very talented, and who have the experience to navigate the situations that our clients are in.
